Yahoo also allows you to choose a section of the world . At the top of the page, type in the name of the area from where you'd like some current events. Or simply arrow down and view the many interesting articles offered to you from around the world.

These sites are designed for children. There are some easy to read articles included here, but you will not find as many articles as you do at the other sites.

Remember to use CountryReports.orgfor current events. Get your user ID and password from the library staff. Once on CountryWatch, choose a region. Once in the region, look to the left and choose current events.

Magazines and Periodicals
We subscribe to many magazine databases. You will find a great deal of information for your research project by using these databases. Just go to our Glen Meadow Website and click on Periodical DatabasesYou will need user ID numbers and passwords to access these sites. Mr. Eisenberg will give you a form with all this information. If you have not received this, please ask the library staff for a copy of it.
