Donations & Grants
_Glen Meadow Library wishes to thank all of the generous sponsors that
are helping make our programs happen and keep our library truly a state
of the art media center. As librarian and media specialist, I work hard to ensure access for our students to every possible resource that may benefit their education. Securing the best resources has led us down a highly successful path of partnering with the best and most prestigious corporations, who have honored us with their generosity and endorsement of our programs.
Our newest corporate donation partnership with the Pottery Barn in Hackensack has already afforded us a fine oak round table for our students to enjoy studying and reading, as well as a 9' x 12' oriental carpet, decorating our quiet reading area. We are so grateful for our corporate donors, for all the wonderful benefits their donations provide our students.

Star Reading is now utilized by teachers throughout Glen Meadow Middle School's Language Arts and Special Education curriculum.
_From Fall 2010 through Fall 2011, Borders Books & Music was a
major donation partner of Glen Meadow Middle School's Library. We received a
series of in-kind donations of new young adult and middle grade titles
that helped to revitalize the shelves of Vernon's middle and high
schools. While we were disappointed to see the bookstore close, we
continue to be grateful for their generosity to our program.
In Summer 2011, the Disney Store became the newest donation partner of Glen Meadow School Library. We're thrilled to have a donor who provides us with such fun and recognizable prizes and decorations for our school library media center.
_For Fall 2011, Glen Meadow's Library Media Center was selected for a generous grant from the Vernon Education Foundation, to help us create a television production program at our middle school. We're very grateful and excited for the opportunity to make this exciting contribution to our student educational experience. Through this grant, our students will launch their first ever morning announcements television show for the Vernon Township School District, here at Glen Meadow.
_Last but certainly not least, a very special thanks to the many families
who contributed to our Friends of the Library Program. We will be
mailing letters home to let you know which books are purchased with an
inscription honoring your loved ones. These newly purchased books will
be on display in the library this winter.
