Cite Your Sources Right from Google Docs!

Citing your sources can now be done as easy as pecan pie layered with caramel.  Here's how:

Log into your Google Docs account

Just log on like usual to Google Docs.  Stay there if you're already writing your paper in Google.  

Click to Get Add-Ons

You'll need to add the "add-on" in Google Docs.


Click Add-ons > Get Add-Ons
  • once you've done that, the screen to the right will show up, with "EasyBib" written in the middle.  If EasyBib doesn't come up immediately, then search for it.

When the above screen appears, click on EasyBib, and follow the on screen instructions for completing the online installation.

Click Add-Ons again

Click "EasyBib Bibliography Creator" and then "Manage Bibliographies"

(Should now appear under Add-Ons)

The above page should show up on the right-hand side of your Google Docs window.  Now just type in the source you're looking for, and you're all set.
